About EDIS Extension Publications

EDIS is the Electronic Data Information Source of UF/IFAS Extension. It is a comprehensive, single-source repository of all current UF/IFAS numbered peer-reviewed publications. These are developed in support of Extension program area goals and objectives and co-published by Florida Cooperative Extension and one of the UF/IFAS academic departments.

This document provides an “Information BMP” plan for Extension faculty, staff and volunteers to follow to provide clients with the most current information. It describes the EDIS sunset review process, provides a bullet list of practices to follow and offers strategies for communicating when source material has been archived.
